The 6" x 6" #HEMLOCK cube....or to be more exact and a bit more Canadian. 144 mm x 144 mm. The wood was once 6"x6" (152.4mm x 152.4mm), but we used some sweet machines to plane it square in preparation for chopping! Thanks for hosting us CAWP! We've been quiet for a while but are proud to say that 312 Main has officially begun :) We are pleased to be part of building Canada's largest and inclusive coworking community. First install of the 1000 year old Redcedar series as part of #ProjectOnce at a private residence. This salvaged old growth would of been a little sapling cedar 1000 years ago. The log where this collection came from, was pointed out to Pat by a mentor of his during a walk through his log yard. It was the end of a log that would of been used for a sizable timber frame project, and would of been over 30' in length to begin with. The log was then slabbed into planks and turned into these interesting planetary objects. This constellation is comprised of 12", 15" dark, 15", 18" dark and 24" discs. Finally got around to capturing some photos of the Garden Sculpture we designed for Prince of Wales Secondary. With the help of @bowerdesignco we cast 32 bricks in 5 colors of concrete, to go on a pre-existing garden area that was designed by students.
